Count Ergon (Guardians of the West) or Elgon (King of the Murgos) was a powerful Honethite noble who had plotted to murder Varana's son, along with Baron Kelbor. Ergon was entertained by Bethra, at her establishment whereupon she heard them speaking hastily and in some heat. Bethra described Ergon as "an unmitigated ass, all bluster and pomposity."
