Sendars were the people of Sendaria. They were a people of mixed background, mostly of Alorn and Arendish, though also of Tolnedran and even Nyissan, descent. Sendaria was located north of Arendia on the coast of the Western Continent, south of the Cherek peninsula. The land that was Sendaria was once the Duchy of Erat, whose Duchess was Polgara. Practicality, honesty, and a strong work ethic were intrinsic to the Sendarian national identity, and a lot of food eaten in the west was grown in Sendaria. The people of Sendaria honored all of the gods.
Sendars were not reluctant to send armies if needed, but tended to be relatively low-skilled militia (voluntary soldiers), often spearmen.
